Background
In 2011 PCMG worked with Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Heart of England
NHS Foundation Trust.
- PCMG recovered £314,652 while working with Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
- PCMG recovered £838,801 for Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust.
In 2017 Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals
Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust merged.
The merged Trust signed up to PCMG’s auditing services in January 2020,
via the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) Debt Resolution Services framework (formerly CCS).
PCMG carried out extensive analysis work, in order to uncover any
overcharges and possible savings on behalf of the trust.
- To date, refunds totaling £245,100 have been recovered, with an annual
saving of £229,530 secured going forward.
PCMG continue to monitor the trust’s invoices, in order to report on the
quantitative savings in real time.
